Phil Strong
Phil is passionate about helping everyday New Zealand families achieve more with their finances. He loves to encourage people to set big financial goals and then work hard and have the discipline to achieve them.
His specialist area of expertise is the property sector – having worked in insurance, home loans, owned a building company, owned millions of dollars worth of property, and is currently the CEO of real estate company the Go Gecko Group.
Phil is also the founder of the Wisemoney Foundation. Wisemoney is a charitable trust that runs financial seminars, has programmes for schools, and has a regular ezine, all focused towards helping New Zealanders to achieve more with their finances.
Combining his Wisemoney passion with his property and real estate expertise, Phil is a strong commentator on issues like home affordability, wise house buying and selling, and New Zealand’s love for mortgage debt.
