Described by her friends as a compulsive renovator, can’t sit in a room without redecorating it. “It’s important to make your space beautiful,” says Anthea, “because the environment you choose to create reveals your soul. What you collect to keep around you – whether it’s an heirloom piece of furniture or a textured cushion – reflects your individuality.”

Renovating and rearranging is something Anthea has been doing since she first owned a doll’s house. “It inspired my career,” she says. “Even at that age I knew how a house could be changed to look and feel better.” What she loves to do is bring diverse influences from many styles together in an eye-catching but comfortable blend.

After studying Interior Design, her passion evolved into Homebase, a highly successful homestaging and interior design business built on combining creativity with practicality. These days, Anthea’s work attracts widespread media attention and, having developed many homes for herself either to rent out or to on-sell, she is now rightly recognised as an expert in homestaging.
